The HIMSS Eastern Canada Chapter is pleased to host its 2023/24 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Our year-end event will be held in downtown Montreal for those able to attend in person as well as virtually for those unable. All members are invited to join us for an evening of rich education and networking opportunities. Following the AGM portion of the agenda, we will feature a panel discussion on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) maturity. HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Thought Leadership Newsletter
The HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Chapter launched the Content Programming and Thought Leadership Committee in early 2023. Our goal is to share themes, success stories and resources each month to positively transform healthcare in provinces from Ontario east to the Maritimes, including Newfoundland and Laborador. The committee selects monthly themes based on industry themes and members' interest and feedback. Content will be shared via the HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est website, LinkedIn and other official marketing channels.

ELF-HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Mentorship Program
The annual Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) mentor-mentee program, in partnership with the HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Chapter, had their official kick-off February 5th, 2024! This program spans 6 months, with the hope of a program wrap-up around June 2024. Mentees had an opportunity to learn more about HIMSS from Bobby Georghiu, President of the HIMSS Eastern Canada-Est Chapter, along with an opportunity to meet others within the cohort, and received valuable advice on how to maximize their mentorship experience from Helen Edwards.
